Cartoon Criminal – Part 3 of Our Disney Villains

A Cartoon criminal basically needs 3 different people for the plot to work.

First there needs to be the villain that we all love to hate and often root for.

Next there is the hero who puts everything right in the end and makes everything nice and peaceful often at personal hardship to self.

Lastly there needs to be a victim.

The victim needs to be focused on in the film heavily as the audience has to be able to relate to them. They need a strong character even if their character is week.

The audience needs to get involved with the victim and feel sorry for them. what the victim does during the movie is what really makes the movie great. They need to search deep into their soul and reach down and get what ever it is that will save them and we can all relate to that at some time in our life.

The cartoon criminal has to rise higher to become ever more demonstrative and the victim has also to rise to the same level if not a higher level to beat them.

The problem with the cartoon criminal is that they know no bad. They no no limit and say, do and think whatever they want. Normally they have some devious plan, whilst the victim has to react to what is thrown at them until they have the strength to step back and also have time to plan.

But it takes time for the victim to do this giving the Cartoon criminal the upper hand for some time.

The hero has a difficult time when it comes to dealing with the cartoon criminal. If he lowers his standards to that of the criminal, the audience will not respect him. The hero has to live by his high standards and even if he wants to stab the villain in the back he cannot!

And of course the hero also has to protect the victim making his task doubly difficult.

Situations such as this make the hero more heroic and the adoration of all watching. Most people never get the chance to do this things in their own life so they can only sit and admire the great attributes of the hero and the struggling victim.

Success leaves a warm glow in our hearts and very often prison or death for the cartoon criminal.
