Cartoon Graphics

Cartoon graphics are used extensively in this world in virtually every aspect of our lives from entertainment to warning signs and everything in between.

I guess cartoon graphics started with the cavemen and the walls were used as they hadn’t invented wallpaper or framed art. So I guess a pre-historic cartoon graphic dinosaur was the in thing then.

Since then cartoon graphics had changed extensively and of course are particularly popular with kids – from 7 to 70 years old.

No matter what age you are, cartoon graphics are still loved by everyone.

Walt Disney is propably the world’s most famous cartoon graphic artists and his original cartoon art is still sought after by collectors.

With the advance in technology it is now getting difficult to tell the difference between real art and computer generated cartoon graphics. This is a great thing as it reduces the cost of making the films, but it is also bad as it will eventually put people out of work. Cartoon Graphics will be in demand for a long time to come and so will the people who create them.

Cartoon graphics are becoming a computer generated medium. Paper cartoon graphics are becoming a thing of the past now and the conventional animator will eventually be replaced with computer animators – a point to consider fro future animators. It woild be wise to learn both paper and computer animation and catoon graphic skills.

There are some wonderful cartoon graphic editing programs around such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark Express and Corel Craw to name just four. But there are literally hundreds. a modern day computer graphic artist will need to master them all.

There are many reasons that you way want to enter the world of cartoon graphics as there will always be a constant demand for this kind of art work.
