Cartoon Colouring Pages
Cartoon Colouring Pages
Cartoon colouring pages can be found all over the internet but what is a cartoonist?
Cartoon colouring pages are made by cartoonists and a cartoonist as the name implies is a specialist in drawing cartoons. Cartoon production, especially in the animation world is a very slow process and is mostly for entertainment purposes, but cartoon colouring can also be found in newspapers and in advertising and there is great demand for this kind or art both by collectors but also in the commercial world.
“Cartoonist” as a term has a broad range of coverage and is applicable to virtually every kind of artist in the world of cartoon colouring pages from graphic novels artists to political artists, comic books, animators and of course those who produce cartoons for traditional comics.
A cartoonist that makes up a series of cartoons as in a movie style is generally called an animator and are as similar as they are different. In Japan the animated cartoons are called anime.
The way a cartoonist performs his cartoon colouring traditionally is to draw his art in pencil and then once he is happy with the end result uses black ink with either brush or pen to draw around the edges of the art. Online cartoonists use digital tools to do this to save time.
Cartoon colouring pages appear everywhere from television shows, newspapers, animated films, cartoon series, magazines, books, advertising and loads of other places making the opportunities to earn long term really incredible.
Cartoon colouring pages not only are a hobby, but they are also collectors items and can be sold and traded for huge amounts of money, especially the early original material such as Disney’s cell frames. Many of the large newspapers, movie houses and other commercial companies pay lots for special edition limited versions of art.
Quiet often one cartoonist does not produce alone, but often there are a team of specialists coming together to make the art. Each “cartoonist” specializes in one particular field and when finished with his part, such as the lettering or backgrounds passes it on to the next specialist.
One of the most common uses of cartoon colouring pages is in the form of a comic book. The comic book started appearing round about 1934 but despite their name depicting humor and fun can actually cover every topic from fun to war to virtually every pain in the world. Comic books, especially the early ones are very valuable and if you can get hold of them will bring you in a lot of money.
This is an amazing world both for the old and the young, the entrepreneur and the business man. Every part of the world has been touched in some way by the art we know as cartoon colouring pages.
Beauty And The Beast Disney DVD
Beauty And The Beast Disney DVD
The Beauty and The Beast Disney DVD is another wonderful release based on another old fairy tale that has been taken by Disney and turned into a master piece.
The Beauty and The Beast Disney DVD originally comes from the french story called La Belle et La Bête and comes from around 1740.
The very first published version of The Beauty and The Beast was produced by La Jeune Américaine for Madame Gabrille-Suzanne Bardot de Villeneuve.
The english version did not appear until 1757 and there are many spin-offs of the story around the world including an operatic version called Zémire et Azor.
The Beauty and The Beast Disney DVD tells the story about a wealthy merchant. He lived in a large house with his three very beautiful daughters. The youngest daughter is called Belle and she was known for not only being beautiful on the outside but also lovely and pure of heart.
However, tragedy strikes at sea and they loose all of their money and are forced to move to a small house on a farm where they must work to keep themselves.
The merchant after some years hears that one of his ships has managed to survive the journey after all and goes in search of the ship eager to know what it contains. Before leaving to see the ship he asks his daughters if there is anything they would like him to bring back.
The two older sisters ask for dresses and jewels thinking that the wealth has returned, but Belle asks for a simple rose as none grow where they live.
The merchant arrives at the ship to find that it has been seized to pay off his debts and that there is no wealth after all and no money for the dresses and jewels for his two older daughters.
On his way home the merchant chances upon a castle after getting lost in the forest. As he enters to seek shelter, he finds that the table has been laid out with food and drink and enjoys a hearty meal.
As he leaves the castle, he sees a rose garden and he recalls that Belle asked for a rose. He looks for the best rose to give her and as he begins his journey the beast from the castle stops him and says that as he has stolen his most precious rose, he must remain his prisoner.
The merchant begs to be released and explains that the rose was intended for his beautiful daughter and that he meant no bad. The beast agrees to let him go as long as he sends his daughter to take his place.
Belle finds out from her father the story and decides to go willingly in her fathers place and the beast is kind and good to her treating her as his guest. He provides her all that she needs in the way of clothes and food and they often talk into the night.
Every night during their talks the beast asks her to marry him, but she refuses saying she is in love with the Prince that is in her dreams. She actually thinks that the beast has captured the Prince and searches the castle in vain to see if she can find him.
Belle lives a wonderful life of luxury and has everything she needs, yet she misses her family and begs the beast to let her go to see them. He agrees and instructs her that she must return after one week, but she must take with her an enchanted mirror that allows her to see what s going on in the castle and the ring is magic and will return her to the castle in an instant after she turns it 3 times around her finger.
When she returns home, her sisters are jealous of her wealth and luxury and try to prevent her returning back to the castle so that the beast will become angry and eat her. Belle gives in to her sisters and agrees not to go back.
However, she is eaten by guilt and picks up the mirror to see how the beast is and she is horrified to see the beast lying on the floor half-dead due to a broken heart and she turns the ring three times to return back to the castle.
But it is too late and the beast is dead. She cries out in pain and her tears fall to the beast as she says how much she loves him. When the tears land on the beast he miraculously comes back to life but this time as the prince.
Only true love could turn him back again into the Prince after a spell was put on him by a fairy because he refused to let her in the castle to shelter from the rain.
This is one of the best Disney movies and also the most famous and it can now be seen on The Beauty And The Beast Disney DVD.
